Lucas Bishop Promoted to Branch Manager

First Bank Kansas, a regional community bank, is proud to announce the promotion of Lucas Bishop to branch manager following the retirement of longtime branch manager, Laurie Jones. Bishop will manage the Hutchinson branch located at 1600 E 17th Avenue.

As a proud citizen of Hutchinson all his life, Bishop attended Hutchinson High School and Hutchinson Community College. He was hired as a customer service representative at First Bank Kansas in 2020 and has been an integral part of the team ever since, serving in other roles such as personal banker and branch operations supervisor. “Lucas’s dedication to exceptional customer service will assure the Hutchinson location continues to thrive under his new leadership,” says Chief Operations Officer and Senior Vice President Angie Eilrich.

Bishop is a dedicated community member who can be found coaching and serving in his church’s sound production booth. He is passionate about inspiring others while serving the community and loves spending time with his wife of 11 years, Karrah, five-year-old daughter, Chandler, and two dogs, Piper and Phoebe. “I’m excited to continue serving our customers and community with the excellent customer service that First Bank Kansas is known for and look forward to what the future has for the Hutchinson community and First Bank Kansas,” says Bishop.
