Bank Secrecy Act Officer (Salina)
Full Time
Location: Salina
The Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Officer is responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of the bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC compliance program. This role ensures the bank maintains an effective system of internal controls designed to comply with applicable laws and regulations related to anti-money laundering, suspicious activity monitoring, customer due diligence, and sanctions compliance. The BSA Officer works closely with bank management and operational departments to identify, assess, and mitigate financial crime risk while promoting a strong culture of regulatory compliance. This position also serves as the primary point of contact for regulatory examinations, audits, and law enforcement requests related to BSA compliance. As part of the Compliance Department, this position also assists in implementing and maintaining the Bank’s compliance program to ensure adherence with state and federal banking laws and regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures. Prior banking experience required with a strong background in compliance.

A full-time position in our McPherson market that will assist lenders with a variety of tasks. Duties include handling loan customer inquiries, information verification, documentation tracking, loan maintenance and other miscellaneous tasks. Financial experience is preferred, but not required.
Ideal candidate will:
- Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Be a self starter who can multi-task and manage time well
- Enjoy a mixture of customer facing interactions and working independently
