Hochman Celebrates 30 years of First Bank Kansas
First Bank Kansas is pleased to announce that Dianne Hochman, Personal Banker in Ellsworth, is celebrating 30 years with First Bank Kansas.
Dianne grew up and attended school in Ellsworth before leaving to attend college and work in Wichita for a short time. Upon marrying, Dianne moved back to her hometown with her new husband so that they could start their family. Dianne has enjoyed raising her children in the community she grew up in. She is passionate about her personal walk with God, her work with her church groups and about the organizations she belongs to which include the Kiwanis and VFW Auxiliary. While Dianne loves to craft, travel and work on the family farm – babysitting or facetiming her grandchildren is her number one pastime!
Through the years, customers have seen Dianne as a teller in both the drive-up and lobby and for a short time she even did some work in the loan department. The ever-changing landscape of banking and First Bank Kansas itself has kept Dianne on her toes and given her many opportunities to learn new things and find ways to help customers. In addition to the ‘real work’ of banking, Dianne thrives when given the opportunity to serve the community in the form of the various community events FBK is involved in every year. Including the Pumpkin Patch/Decorating contest that Dianne can remember her own kids participating in.
One unique opportunity Dianne had during her tenure with FBK was when she chaperoned a bank sponsored trip with the travel club, a ‘Mystery Trip’, meaning the destination was known only to the trip planner, Tonya Chegwidden. Before arriving at their destination, a traveler was asking Dianne if she knew where they were going and before she could answer, another passenger piped up and said, “Oh don’t ask her, she doesn’t know anything”. While funny, it was also true, Dianne hadn’t been let in on the secret either!
Kristin Haase, Vice President and Branch Manager, says “Dianne’s commitment to First Bank Kansas and her customers the past 30 years has always been exceptional. She enjoys getting to know them and goes above and beyond to meet their needs.”
Please join us in congratulating and thanking Dianne for her years of dedication and service to First Bank Kansas and the Ellsworth community.
