First Bank Kansas is proud to announce that Kristin Haase, VP and Loan Officer/Branch Manager in Ellsworth, is celebrating 25 years with First Bank Kansas. Kristin’s dedication and commitment to her work and the Ellsworth community is demonstrated in this remarkable milestone.

Born and raised in rural Ellsworth County, Kristin grew up on her family farm and worked on her dad’s ranch, which, other than working at a small diner right off I-70 on the Elkhorn in the late 80’s (when she was only 14), was technically her first job. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at Kansas State University, Kristin returned to her Ellsworth roots, joining First Bank Kansas shortly thereafter. Throughout her tenure at First Bank Kansas, Kristin has been an invaluable team player, beginning her career as a Loan Administrator and working in various positions that ultimately led to her current position of Loan Officer and Branch Manager.

While working at First Bank Kansas, Haase was also raising a family with her husband, Arrin. The Haases have three daughters, Jenna, Nicole and Karli, and the family is passionate about the farming lifestyle and working together to run the family farm. Kristin most enjoys flower and vegetable gardening but is willing and able to assist wherever she is most needed on the farm.

Kristin employs this same can-do attitude at First Bank Kansas. Knowing the bank has everything necessary to serve the members of the Ellsworth community, she’s eager to help anyway she can. Because of her longevity with the bank, she’s had the unique experience of watching her customers get their first checking account, then helping them secure their first car loan and eventually walking them through the process of purchasing a first home.
