Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Each week of September 2023, information will be in-branch, online at firstbankkansas.com/fbkmac25 and on Social Media with information as to what McPherson landmark(s) is the feature for the week. To receive entry into the giveaway, participants will take a selfie in front of the designated landmark and post to Facebook with the hashtag #fbkmac25   Each picture with the accurate hashtag, correct landmark and posted to Facebook within the timeframe designated in the weekly information will be entered to win. Alternate forms of entry are available in the McPherson branch at 1301 N Main, McPherson KS 67460 or entries can be emailed to: [email protected] and include: Full Name & Phone Number. Contest entry ends at midnight on September 28, 2023.

Conditions of Participation: By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsors and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their employees, contractors, officers, directors, and representatives from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of your participation in the #FBKMAC25 Giveaway or any drawing-related activities and the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this drawing.

By participating, you grant the Sponsors permission the use of your name and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes (except where prohibited by law) and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. Upon request, you agree to provide consent to such use in writing.

No pictures require entry onto private property. Participants are urged to use safety precautions when taking pictures. Any portion of the landmark within the ‘selfie’ is sufficient for entry. Touching or entering the landmark is not necessary for participation and anyone who damages, destroys or trespasses on public or private property will be disqualified from the #FBKMAC25 contest.

All ages are eligible (if winner is under 18, must bring an adult at least 18 years old and have a valid U.S. federal- or state-issued ID and must be a legal resident of the state of Kansas) to be eligible to claim a prize in the #FBKMAC25 giveaway. Participants do not need to be present to win either the weekly or Grand Prize drawings. All prizes need to be claimed, in-person no later than close of the McPherson First Bank Kansas location on Friday, October 6. Failure to claim within the time period allotted will result in forfeiture of the prize. Employees of First Bank Kansas and their immediate family members (defined as spouse, mother, father, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandparents and in-laws, regardless of where they live) and members of their households (whether or not related) are not eligible.

Only the name of the participant’s Social Media profile, with the accurate hashtag, within the designated timeframe, whom posts the selfie is entered into the drawing for the #FBKMAC25 Giveaway and it is the participant’s responsibility to ensure compliance in all respects with these Official Rules. There is no limit to the number of entries per participant, per week.

Each week, a minimum of 7 (seven) winners will be drawn. Entrants are limited to (1) one weekly prize throughout the contest. Entries that are not drawn for a weekly prize will carry through to the Grand Prize Drawing, including those of a weekly winner if they submitted more than one entry that week. There is a limit of 1 (one) grand prize, per person. Winners will be provided with an affidavit of eligibility / liability / photo release, and a Tax Acceptance Form. Unless restricted by law, winners will be required to complete all signatures on required paperwork pursuant to these Official Rules to be eligible to receive a #FBKMAC25 Giveaway prize. All taxes in claiming a #FBKMAC25 Giveaway prize, are the sole responsibility of winners and an IRS Form W-9 may be required so that First Bank Kansas may issue an IRS Form 1099 for the winnings. Should winners be unwilling or otherwise unable to provide such permissions and/or releases or noncompliance with the foregoing requirements and if winners are not able to accept or take possession of the #FBKMAC25 Giveaway Prize for any reason, prize will be forfeited.
